LITTLE RANCHERS
While we absolutely love your littles, this is a kid-free wedding. If you'd like, you're more than welcome to bring your kids with you to Big Sky. It's a very family friendly town! However, please arrange a babysitter to watch them during the main events on Saturday & Sunday.
THE WILD WEATHER
Late October in Big Sky is crisp and beautiful, with cool mountain air and stunning fall scenery. Daytime temperatures are typically in the 40s–50s°F, while evenings can drop into the 20s–30s°F. Pack some warm layers, a good jacket, and your favorite boots—you’ll be glad you did.
THE WILD WILDLIFE
Big Sky is home to some of Montana’s most iconic wildlife. It’s not uncommon to spot elk, deer, moose, foxes, or even the occasional bear wandering through the mountains. While they’re beautiful to see, they’re best admired from a distance—after all, around here, we’re the visitors in their neck of the woods.

THE WILD WEDDING FASHION
Black Tie Optional. Gentlemen are welcome to wear tuxedos or dark suits, and ladies are encouraged to lean into rich fall colors—think deep greens, burgundy, rust, gold, and other warm autumn tones that complement the Montana landscape. Elegant with a touch of mountain charm.

GETTIN' AROUND
No need to saddle up or hitch a ride—transportation will be provided to and from the welcome party & wedding from the Residence Inn and One&Only Moonlight Basin. Shuttles will be running to make sure everyone gets there and back safely, so you can relax, enjoy the evening, and soak in the Big Sky hospitality.

THE WILD WELCOME
PARTY
Kick off the weekend with a little western flair. For our welcome party, we’re going Western Chic—think elevated ranch style with boots, felt hats, bolo ties, and turquoise accents. Channel a little Beth Dutton energy and come ready for a relaxed night under the Big Sky.
